L.J. Armstrong Big Game Outfitter is owned and operated by L.J. Armstrong of Cliff, New Mexico. Hunting is not only a livelihood for the Armstrong family, but also a way of life. L.J. has been hunting Southern New Mexico for over 40 years and his wife, Heidi, and daughter, Codi Jo, are both also long-time guides in the family business. L.J. is extremely well respected in the hunting community and has been voted New Mexico's Outfitter of the Year. The Armstrong's hunt the remote and beautiful Gila National Forest in the Southwestern part of New Mexico known for its abundant wildlife and especially big bull elk. Species they hunt include elk, mule deer, coues deer, black bear, cougar and bobcat.
